Bonnie Parker, Former Waitress, Killed Dead

I was at a double feature at the Paramount tonight, "They Live by Night" and "Bonnie and Clyde." As I left the theater, I heard the woman behind me say to her friend, "Well, I guess that's better than being a waitress all your life."

    There are worse things than being a career waitress. In fact, being a career waitress is somewhat high on the list of "worthwhile ways to spend your life" when you consider all the shittier things you could be doing.

    Good grief! where would princess be if she didn't have people to wait on her? She's likely aping only what she hears and is masking insecurity in her own life path by tearing down some unseen person.

    I think she had been a waitress and preferred the idea of a violent death in a rain of bullets over ever going back to that job.
